Pre-School Chistmas Party

Isn't Christmas such a magical time to be three?
Tatum was the last one to be called to go up to see Santa and she was so patient and so excited, she even cheered as the other classmates were called and had a minute with Santa.

The Christmas Ballet

Tatum's pre-school class attend a local production of the 'Nutctracker,' a recipe for disaster right? Pre-schooler and a ballet!?! I came prepared with a bag full of snacks and fully intending on leaving at intermission, but we didn't. She loved it. It captivated her. She followed the story and had about a hundred questions. It was a really near experience and everytime she sees a nutcracker she talks about the "christmas ballet!"

Daddy Daughter Date

Tatum and daddy went to the movies to see the new Madagascar movie and loved it. She is such a daddy's girl and she loves doing things with just dad(not mommy, not Minken). She even got the kiddie pack at the movies; kids popcorn, mini MM's and a juice.

Pre-school's Thanksgiving Feast

I was assigned a food project on our party day, so I taught the kids how to make butter. I put a little heavy whipping cream and salt in a baby food jar and the kids shook them and in minutes we had butter.

It was such a fun party. The kids made drums and bean shakers and had the best time making a lot of noise. They had a Thanksgiving feast with turkey and all the traditional fixings, and Tatum was named Indian "Pumpkin Pie"

I love this preschool!

At the end of October we ventured out on another field trip. We headed up to the apple orchards in Oak Glen. Beautiful.

Tatum seen here making apple juice on the 100 year old juicer.

She was so attentive and really enjoyed being with her class.

School days....

We thought the fishnets were a bit risque for pre-school, so she wore my Strawberry Shortcake Halloween costume that my mom made for me when I was just about three.

More Tumble Tots

Tatum really enjoyed her Tumble Tots class. She even made a friend, pictured above in the red shirt. His name is Lars, and they loved playing chase together.

She is so attentive during circle time.

Tatum's First Field Trip

Tatum's first field trip in October was to Greenspot Farms in Mentone. She had only been to pre-school one day before we went on this little trip and had a hard time following directions.

Tatum loves to cook, bake, stir, measure ingredients, and snack during the whole process. She helps or tries to help on a daily basis.

Such a little entertainer!
