Not to be left out...

Ben Bunker - Feb 22, 2009

Tatum has received several blessings recently: a Father's blessing before she began the
school year, and several blessings when she was sick. Each time, we explained to her
what was going to happen and why I would be holding my hands on her head. It seemed
as though she grasped onto the idea with relative ease.

Today after church, Tricia was to be set apart as a primary leader. We went to the
Bishop's office and the Bishop and I laid our hands on Tricia's head to set her apart as
such. We explained that Tricia would be getting a blessing just like Tatum got a blessing
recently. She understood. Shortly after the blessing began, it seems as though Tatum
was feeling like she wasn't helping much...not to be left out, she came over and whispered, "I helping mommy" and placed her hand on mommy's chest in order to help
give the blessing. She kept her hand there for the duration of the blessing.

Isn't it 'sweet'!

Tatum's Valentines for her class, she worked really hard signing her name on all 20 cards!

Lincoln was thrilled he got to celebrate!

The kids always sing, "Yo ho Yo ho a pirate's life for me," when they are on this 'boat.' I love that some of the girls commandeered it today.

She really was in a good mood this day, maybe the crown was too tight!?!

Examining her loot, she really loved the giving and RECEIVING of this whole Valentine thing!

Planetarium

Tatum's pre-school had a field trip here. It was a relaxing morning that took me back to my Astronomy class at BYU, can anyone say naptime? Lights dimmed. Faint stars. Perfect temperature.
