MIttens and Snowman Party

Yep, another class party!

Snowman treats for the party

We had a break from the rain and Mrs. Morales sent the kids out for a
run to get their wiggles out!

I think the favorite of the meal was the powdered doughnuts!

Fire Safety

We learned about fire safety at Tatum's pre-school, and the class took a trip to one of Redland's Fire Stations. The firemen that helped with the field tip couldn't have been any better with these kids.

My little chef/baker/party planner

Tatum likes to make sure everyone is fed. Even at this moment, as I type she is making me a play-do salad. Isn't my birthday cake beautiful (below). No, it is not my birthday but Tatum thinks the only reason we can have cake is for a birthday. Anyway she spent about 20 minutes preparing this spread. She got the ingredients from her little fridge, mixed them in the mixture and then baked it in her oven. She made sure I had a spoon as well as a glass of milk. She was so proud of her concoction and watched as I pretend ate every bite!

Spiders and Bats

So the other morning I left the two kids at the table with their breakfast to us the restroom.

Tatum: Mom where are you going?

Mom: To the bathroom.

Tatum: Be careful mom. Be carfeul.

Mom: Okay, I will.

Tatum: Mom, be careful, there are spiders and bats in there.

Really, I don't have an explanation, but I do appreciate her concern.

Tatum is a Sunbeam

Tatum has graduated Nursery and is now officially a Sunbeam. She gets to go to the 'big kids primary,' and she was so excited. The first week was disastrous, sitting for two hours is so much harder than playing with toys, singing some songs and having snack time. She cried, pouted and threw a little 3 year old tantrum, Ben had to stay with her during her class time.
Yesterday, her second time going to Sunbeams was an entirely different experience, she did so good. She really enjoyed it and the primary leaders said she did great. I can't believe my little Tatum is in Primary, but we are so proud of the little person she is.

New School Semester to start soon...

so I thought I better make room for the new artwork. We have saved a few of the favorites but the rest I captured in a few pictures before making room for the new stuff!

Tatum, Tatum, Tatum

Isn't this the cutest hat, thanks Uncle Todd!
